My Village Travels is in partnership with NVA's Global Village Youth Travel Program in Richmond, VA. Students in the program have traveled almost coast-to-coast on a cross-country tour from Virginia to the Grand Canyon in Arizona. Teachers and students have traveled to a variety of international destinations like Egypt, Ghana, Barbados, Mexico, China, and Belize. Key components of this program include the studying of cultures across the globe and the teaching of Kiswahili, Spanish, Chinese, and Arabic at Nubian Village Academy, Inc. The Global Village program also include regular correspondence with students in other countries. Understanding other cultures helps to blur the lines of separation between people and allows our students to take their place as citizens of the world.

Membership for local students included 8 free local experiential learning fieldtrips and major discounts on national and international tours.
